Phuket (locally known as Puket) has some nice beach options in Thailand. The celebtrated Patong beach offers more than just a sunset view - Seafood lovers and Massage adicts would find great bargains at this place. Not to mention the trademark daredevilish beach sports includng - Parasailing & Speed boating. Phuket also offers a daily trip to Phi Phi (locally pronounced as Pi Pi) islands which is an excellent place for snorkeling.  On the way to Phi Phi you can see the Monkey cave - where you can feed the friendly monkeys. Some other popular destinations from Phuket include the James Bond Island and Krabi Islands. All these offer great spots with white sand beaches and ideal for snorkeling and other activities. Phuket also has options of some exotic sports like white water rafting and bungee jumping.

Day 2: Phi Phi Island Tour

 Small Island enroute Phi Phi

On your way to Phi Phi you would catch some scenic surroundings.

 Maya Beach

The first stop would be a white sand beach called Maya beach - this is where the movie "The beach" was shot.

The water is clear and ideal for a dip.

 Monkey Island

After that you'll get to see the monkey cave followed by the Viking cave (where locals go to collect ingridients for bird's nest soup)

You'll also get a chance to feed the friendly monkeys - as I did ;)

 Lunch

After a brief snorkeling session you would be taken to Phi Phi island

Lunch would be at Phi Phi - and you can pre order a vegetarian meal  :)

 Phi Phi

Post lunch - an extended snorkeling session at Phi Phi Don island

Phi Phi Don - lots of different fishes and corals (they claim some 18 Coral varieties?)

 Phi Phi

Phi Phi offers great choices for Snorkelling or just chilling
